So, now the question arises has there been a provocation by Pakistan?
According to government sources, recently Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir made a provocative speech against Hindus. This attack came soon as the Amarnath Yatra is about to begin. Therefore, this attack has spread more panic. In 2017, seven people were killed in a terrorist attack on a bus of pilgrims returning from Amarnath in Anantnag. 19 people were injured among the dead, 5 were from Gujarat and 2 were from Maharashtra.
The Amarnath Yatra was supposed to begin on July 3rd, three months later. Before that, militants targeted tourists in Pahalgaon in a very suggestive manner. According to sources, the militants attacked the Vaisran Valley, about 5 km from Pahalgaon Hill Station, at around 2:30 pm on Tuesday. They first asked the Tourists Religion after which they opened fire. The tourist’s body was seen lying on the lawn. Most of the injured tourists are from Gujarat and there are also tourists from Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Till now 26 people have died among the Tourists as per sources. The TRF, an affiliate of the Pakistan-based militant organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
