NIN Web Desk : (Dr subhrojyoti chattopadhyay); The name is Saifullah Khalid alias Saifullah Kasuri, as per Intelligence sources estimate that he was the mastermind behind the terrorist attack in Pahalgaon on Tuesday. On his orders, five or six terrorists opened fire indiscriminately in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgaon on Tuesday afternoon. At least, that was what was thought but this time, Saifullah himself denied responsibility for the attack, dispelling all speculations. He said, “All India’s drama!” So far, 26 people have died in the incident on Tuesday afternoon. Many more were injured.
‘The Resistance Front‘ (TRF) has already claimed responsibility for the attack. This terrorist group was born in the midst of the political unrest in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. At that time, TRF emerged as a ‘shadow organization’ of the Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. And Saifullah is one of the leaders of Lashkar. So even though TRF carried out the attack, Saifullah planned the entire thing, according to intelligence sources. But Saifullah himself dismissed all those speculations, saying that he had no role in the attack in Pahalgam.
In it, Saifullah is heard saying, “India is playing a drama. They themselves carried out this attack. There is no link between Pakistan or any of its terrorist organizations with the attack in Pahalgaon.” Along with this, an aggressive tone has also been heard in Saifullah’s voice against the Indian media. Anti-India tone has been heard in Saifullah’s voice several times before. Saifullah was known to be close to Hafiz Saeed, one of the leaders of the terrorist group Lashkar and who is on India’s ‘wanted’ list.
According to sources, he also had considerable ‘influence’ in the Pakistan Army. Two months before the Pahalgaon attack, he was seen in Kangalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. There was a large battalion of the Pakistan Army there. Saifullah was called by Colonel Zahid Zarin of the Pakistan Army to speak in that battalion. He was called to boost the morale of the army personnel. According to media sources, most of Saifullah’s speech contained anti-India messages. An attack on the Indian Army was also ‘advised’. Another such meeting was organised by the Pakistan Army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. In that meeting too, Saifullah made anti-India speeches. Along with this, he was also heard threatening to occupy Kashmir.
