NIN365 Desk, Kolkata :  Sukanto Majumdar quickly rose to the top spot in the competition on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Namo’ app, overtaking others overnight. Despite lagging behind until Sunday, he now leads as the state president of the BJP.  The competition on the app has intensified, with participants striving to complete tasks and earn points.

According to BJP sources, after the news titled ‘Race to Reach Modi! Arjun-Putul Ahead, Sukanto-Shubhendu Trails Behind’ was published online media , enthusiasm within the party surged. Participants are now actively engaging with the app, completing tasks regularly, and striving to excel. As of Monday morning, Sukanto has secured the fourth position in the competition.

In the competition among BJP leaders, MPs, and legislators, Arjun Singh’s son Pavan Kumar Singh was leading the charts until the end of the last week. However, in the new week, Sukanto Majumdar has claimed the top spot with an impressive score of 2978 points. Even though Pavan Kumar Singh currently holds the third position, Sukanto’s surge has created a competitive atmosphere within the party.

The weekly rankings show that Pavan Kumar Singh has 6557 points, maintaining his third position, while Sukanto has rapidly climbed to the fourth spot with 3920 points. Notably, Nishith Pramanik, a central minister and BJP MP from Koch Bihar, who held the fourth position last week, is not featured in the current rankings.

Sukanto Majumdar, who has been actively engaging with the ‘Namo’ app, emphasized the importance of adhering to the party’s directives and utilizing the app regularly. Despite leading the competition, he expressed humility and stated his focus on working for the party. Sukanto also encouraged booth-level workers to actively participate and contribute to the competition.

The ‘Namo’ app, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has become a platform for BJP leaders and workers to stay connected, receive daily updates from the Prime Minister, and engage in tasks and competitions. The app serves as a tool to motivate and encourage party members, fostering a sense of competition and participation.

As the BJP gears up for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the ‘Namo’ app has gained special significance, playing a role in candidate selection and engaging party workers. The intense competition within the app reflects the party’s efforts to strengthen its digital presence and mobilize members for upcoming electoral challenges.
