Amidst this political buzz, Congress MP Abu Hasem Khan Choudhury claimed that the Trinamool is willing to leave only two seats for Congress and is eyeing more. However, Adhir Chowdhury, the President of the Pradesh Congress, questioned, “Who will show mercy and give us two seats?” making it clear that they are not seeking charity.

On the other hand, Pradesh Congress President Adhir Chowdhury raised the issue of two seats again, stating, ‘Who will show mercy for two seats?’ Clearly stating, he doesn’t want to show mercy. He mentioned, ‘Have we asked for mercy? We are resigning.’ He even challenged Mamata Banerjee in Bahrampur during her visit, stepping into the electoral competition.
When this extensive turmoil was unfolding, even leaders like Shubhendu Adhikari and Sukanta Majumdar were drawn into state politics. They verbally expressed, ‘Binding India Jote,’ and even the BJP workers below, in the same tune, bound Congress and Trinamool.
