NIN Web Desk : (Dr subhrojyoti chattopadhyay); The State Drug Control has submitted a new list of Fake Medicine where a total number of 27 Drug names have been submitted. A total of 103 Drugs have failed in their quality test which is shocking. The list has anti-hypertensive drugs, anti-diabetic drugs, PPI and other Drugs. As per reports of different State Drug Control in few Medicines there was presence of Fungus even in few Bacteria also has been found.
Another fact which came up in some Medicines there wasn’t any Active Molecules but only powder was found. If any patients will take these type of Medicines then there can be serious Adverse effects which can lead to serious Health Problems.
A reputable Pharma Company is also in the line, the Company’s anti-hypertensive drug has failed in the Quality test. If an anti-hypertensive Drug is not taken by a patient or if the patients skips the Course then that patient will land in serious health trouble. The Anti-hypertensive drug of a particular Batch number has been found that it has failed in the Quality test. Though the Pharma Company claimed that the Particular Batch Number which has failed in Quality Test has not been manufactured by them (Pharma Company).
Now the question arises if the Pharma Company has not manufactured then who has done the Fake Manufacturing? It’s a serious question how come this happened that too by risking the lives of Common People? How will the People know? How will they differ which is Fake and which is Original?
