The junior doctors went on hunger strike for a long time in protest against the incident. The fast track court Judge Anirban Das seeing the observation of 172 pages by CBI convicted the accused civic volunteer Sanjay Rai and sentenced him to life imprisonment. However, the victim’s family claims that many others are involved in the incident.
The Last month rgkar out post 11 Police Personnels were summoned at CGO Complex, yesterday 4 Nurses were summoned who were on-duty and present on the day of incident. Today comes with a new twist as another Security guard named Amit who was on duty that night at Trauma Care has been summoned by CBI at CGO Complex.
Today Amit has been questioned by CBI in which the major question was Sanjay Rai went to the Trauma Care that very day in which he responded and said there were many Loopholes. The pieces of the puzzle are being gathered one by one but still many Loopholes, Questions remain unanswered and unsolved.
The Charge sheet was to be submitted by CBI within 90 days but they had failed and now it has been more than 7 months. Abhaya’s father and mother have always spoken about the CBI investigation process from the beginning. They reached Delhi, the headquarters of the CBI, and then the Supreme Court with that demand that a Fair Investigation should start again. They had only one demand, that not everyone is being properly interrogated. There is a ‘gap’ somewhere, Loopholes which are there.
Another new twist is that Vanila Krishnan has been summoned by CBI as per sources but it has been heard that she is hiding somewhere in Nepal. Is it that Vanila Krishnan was present on that day for which CBI has summoned? Or is there any other plot behing it maybe another story which when it will get unfold lead to someone? Might be another Name who was on duty that day.
Is it that under immense Public Pressure CBI has been forced to do a Fair Investigation? Or is that the new Chief Justice has taken a stand to give Justice? Why hasn’t the CBI submitted Supplementary charge sheet till today? Abhaya’s parents said repeatedly that Sanjay Rai is not the lne who is accused for that one by one the Names are coming?
