A single bench can hear the case, said the Supreme Court, Justice Tirthankar Ghosh will hear the case. The case may be heard in the Kolkata High Court from now on, as per said by the Supreme Court. Karuna Nandi, the lawyer of the doctor’s family, said that they had appealed to the Supreme Court to conduct a CBI investigation under the supervision of the High Court. The Supreme Court said that a single bench of the High Court will look into the matter. The next hearing of this case is in the second week of May.
For a long time, the doctor’s family has expressed displeasure with the CBI probe into the RG Kar case. Earlier, the parents went to Delhi and met the CBI director to express their dissatisfaction. The family claimed that many mysteries were not revealed in the CBI investigation. After that, CBI activity increased in the RG Kar case, a Kolkata police sub-inspector and a woman police officer were called to the CGO complex for questioning.
The victim’s family is somewhat relieved by this order of the Supreme Court and their tears didn’t stop. This time at least they are hoping for justice for their own Daughter. When told, their house is empty and that it will never be filled. Strengthening the mind for the future fight the doctor daughter will not return to them. But they are fighting this battle for their daughter’s justice, and for that no parent should have to see such a day.
The parents of the victim said that the fight will continue for the daughter’s justice. CBI should quickly complete the investigation and submit the report. Let the other culprits also be caught. On Monday, lawyer Karuna Nandi appealed to the Supreme Court on their behalf, the doctor’s parents had no words how to thank her.
