According to police sources, two people hired an app cab from Nagerbazar on Tuesday night. The Trolley was with them and the passengers asked to park the car in a dark place on the Kalyani Expressway near Ghola Mahishpota after crossing Muragacha. It was approximately 12 o’clock in the night, the driver was suspected for stopping the car suddenly. The deceased was wearing jeans pants and a white T-shirt. On receiving the news, the high-ranking officials of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate went to the spot. Along with the recovery of the body, several documents and cash have been seized. A passenger has been arrested and the app cab driver was also questioned about the incident. In this regard, Bilkanda No. 1 panchayat deputy head Prabir Das said, “I got the news of the recovery of the dead body. The dead body was kept in a blue trolley as they travelled via a cab and wanted to dump it at a scheduled spot on the Kalyani Expressway. The police caught one person earlier and I have full confidence in the police investigation.”
